Our staff really are very pleasant, discount with smiles all over their faces. A polite bow as greeting, patient and any questions about the menu are explained with ease. Altogether, Thai Orchid is verywelcoming indeed, which its continuing popularity for everyone.

We arrived to a very warm welcome from all the staff, particularly the owner who couldnt do enough
to help. The restaurant was very busy, but the tables were far enough apart that you didnt feel
enfringed on by others and we had a lovely romantic evening. The service was prompt and food was
excellent – especially the Maasaman curry – so many delicious flavours. The price was what we would
expect to pay in any decent restaurant (from memory the price was about 10 for a main meal plus then
extras e.g rice) If we were ever in Glasgow again we would definatley return!

My partner and I really enjoy eating here. The food is the most authentic Thai food we’ve had in the UK.
The menu seems expensive, but you get a lot of food for your money and it is of an excellent level of quality.
The wine menu is good and there is a good selection of beer and soft drinks. Ricky, the manager/owner,
makes his customers very welcome and the rest of the staff almost fall over themselves trying to please. If you want to try something different, ask Ricky for a recommendation and he’ll tell you what’s good that day!
Thai Orchid can get a little busy at the weekends, but the ambience still makes it an ideal place to go for a
romantic meal for two at any time. Likewise, it is also great for big groups of people too.
